The couple had been married Saturday in Atascadero after a ceremony on the Young Cruise Ship near the island of San Juan.
Guitarist Mark Miller seemed to confirm the news on Facebook as he congratulated the couple. He further said that he did not attend the ceremony. "I'm only aware of that because one of my friends attended the ceremony in Atascadero and announced it on the site," Miller said.
The singer "Heart of Gold" confirmed what was speculated in August: the two lovebirds tied the knot.
Young mentioned the actress of "Kill Bill" as his wife in a note posted Wednesday on his website about his "Ohio" of the 70s.
"OHIO was written in 1970 after seeing the cover of a magazine where a girl was kneeling next to her dead boyfriend," said the 72-year-old.
